Implant Treatment

Implant treatment involves artificial tooth roots placed into the jawbone to restore the function and aesthetics of teeth lost for various reasons. Usually made of titanium, these screws integrate perfectly with the bone thanks to their biocompatible structure. Unlike traditional dentures, implants offer a fixed and permanent solution, allowing the patient to feel like they have their own teeth. Preventing bone resorption by transmitting chewing force directly to the jawbone is one of the biggest biological advantages of implants.

The treatment process begins with a detailed radiological examination and analysis of the jaw structure with 3D tomography. Performed under local anesthesia, the procedure is completely painless and comfortable. After the implant is placed, a period of 2-3 months is usually required for it to fuse with the bone (osseointegration). However, in cases where bone quality is suitable, temporary teeth can be attached on the same day with the "Immediate Loading" technique. At the end of this period, the treatment is aesthetically completed by attaching porcelain or zirconium dental prostheses.

In cases of total edentulism, it may not be necessary to place an implant for each tooth. Thanks to All-on-4 or All-on-6 techniques, a fixed prosthesis is placed on 4 or 6 implants placed at specific angles per jaw, allowing patients to have fixed teeth on the same day. This method is also a great savior for patients with advanced bone resorption.

Why Choose Dental Implants?

  • Provides natural tooth feel and appearance, corrects speech disorders.
  • Does not damage adjacent healthy teeth; there is no need to cut adjacent teeth as in the bridge procedure.
  • Stops jawbone melting (resorption) caused by tooth deficiency.
  • It is a durable investment that can be used for a lifetime with proper oral care.
  • Eliminates problems such as sores, slipping, and palate sensitivity caused by removable dentures.
